Ken Lewis
President

Ken began with People Lease in 1994 as a customer service representative and has worked tirelessly through the ranks all the way up to President.

Before his time at People Lease, Ken spent almost a decade serving our country in the US Navy. In his spare time you will find him fishing, cheering on MS State and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Margaret White
Corporate Accounting & Tax Specialist

Margaret could easily be considered the backbone of the People Lease machine. She pays the bills, handles the deposits and files federal and multi-state tax payments. No role at People Lease has greater fiscal implications or is more deadline-driven. Margaret’s can-do attitude and on-the-job insights make her one of the organization’s most valuable assets.

Anna Blaylock
Payroll

Anna Blaylock is part of the Payroll team at People Lease, bringing several years of customer service experience supporting both employees and clients. She joined People Lease in 2025 and quickly transitioned into a full-time role. Anna holds a degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University, which complements her thoughtful and people-focused approach.

Originally from Louisiana and a longtime Mississippi resident, Anna lives in Madison and is a proud mom to two young adult sons. In her free time, she enjoys pet sitting, crafting, and thrifting.

Tina Brooks
Commercial Account Manager

Tina brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and is a licensed Property & Casualty agent. She earned her associate’s degree in Office Systems from Hinds Community College and is also a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, bringing a well-rounded background in both administrative and technical fields.

Based in Pearl, Tina is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and dedication to supporting clients and her team. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time at the beach, camping, fishing, reading, and watching movies. At home, she’s kept company by her three cats.

Laura Burdick
Accounting

Laura joined the accounting department at People Lease in August 2022. She brings with her 17 years of experience in accounting, payroll and tax processing. Laura has a strong work ethic and is detail oriented, she strives to understand all aspects of the company to provide the best service to our clients. Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lackawanna College, Scranton PA, with a degree in Business Administration.

A native of Pennsylvania, Laura relocated to Mississippi in 2022 and currently resides in Ridgeland. When she is not working, Laura enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping and trying out different restaurants.

Sue Burrell
Payroll

Sue joined People Lease in our Payroll Department in March 2022. She has 25 years combined experience in the banking industry, human resources, and customer service.

She resides in Leesburg and enjoys spending family time with her 2 beautiful daughters and 2 adorable grandchildren.

James Clay
Business Development Manager
James has been in sales & customer service for 10 years. In that time he has helped ensure complete customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable and dedicated to his clients. He is extremely detail-oriented allowing him to determine the fundamental needs of the customer and exceed their expectations. James has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University.

Currently residing in Brandon, James enjoys outdoor activities, sports and spending time with friends and family.
Andy Day
Accounting

Andy brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and customer service, combining financial expertise with a strong commitment to client support. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Mississippi State University.

Andy lives in Raymond with his wife, Susan, their dog Chewy, and two cats, Obi and Fluffy. In his free time, he enjoys reading, staying active, and watching college baseball. 

Jessica Deffenbaugh
Implementation
Jessica has been a part of the People Lease team since 2017, bringing over 10 years of valuable administrative experience. She currently lives in North Mississippi with her husband and two children. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, and cooking.
Emily Haggerty
Payroll

Emily joined People Lease in 2026 and is a member of the Payroll Department. She is known for her strong work ethic and dependable support of both her team and clients.

Based in Brandon, Emily enjoys spending her free time outdoors, especially boating, fishing, and mud riding with family and friends.

Gina Gillon
Payroll

Gina has been a part of People Lease since 2024, bringing over 25 years of administrative, management and payroll experience. Gina attended both Holmes Community College and then Mississippi State University with degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Technology.

Gina resides in Brandon with her husband, Robert. Gina has three children and three precious grandchildren. Her favorite pastime is being GiGi and spending time with her grands. She also enjoys reading and traveling with her husband.

Jennifer Lollar
Payroll

Jennifer joined People Lease in 2024 and brings over 20 years of experience in payroll and accounting. She is known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and willingness to support the team wherever needed. Jennifer enjoys taking on new projects and contributing to the overall success of the payroll function.

 Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her dogs, working in her yard, being with friends and family, and taking care of her many chickens. 

Jaymie Murphy
Operations & Client Services

Jaymie Murphy is part of the Operations & Client Services team at People Lease, where she has grown into her role through progressive responsibility since joining the company in 2017. She brings a strong background in implementation, process development, payroll, human resources, and client relationship management, contributing to operational efficiency and a high level of client support.

Jaymie holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Counseling from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Based in Pickens, Mississippi, Jaymie enjoys reading, exploring nature, and collecting rocks with her husband, as well as spending time playing with their dogs.

Melissa Murray
Implementation

Melissa joined People Lease in 2017 and brings over 24 years of experience in accounting, auditing, office management, customer service, and project management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Louisiana Tech University and is known for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-oriented approach. Melissa is passionate about supporting others and contributing to a collaborative, productive work environment.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, hunting, attending sporting events, and cooking and baking.

Leslie Powell, CISR
Commercial Account Manager & Marketing

Leslie is a Commercial Account Manager with a strong background in business administration, marketing, and commercial insurance. She holds the CISR designation and is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health. In addition to working closely with clients to ensure their businesses are properly protected, Leslie plays an active role in marketing initiatives, contributing to client communications, website content, and overall brand development. She is known for her attention to detail and her thoughtful, client-focused approach.

Based in Brandon, Leslie enjoys spending time with her children, cooking, and hosting family and friends.

Eric Sokolsky
Business Development Manager

Eric Sokolsky is a seasoned Client Services and Business Development professional with over 15 years of experience in the payroll services industry. With a strong background in sales and operations, Eric has successfully opened and serviced hundreds of client accounts, earning a reputation for his professionalism and attentiveness to customer needs.

He brings extensive experience in streamlining customer service functions, with a focus on payroll, reconciliations, and accounts receivable and payable processes. Eric is also passionate about mentoring team members, contributing to business development efforts, and supporting operational efficiency across the organization. He holds licenses in both Life & Health and Property & Casualty insurance.

Active in his community, Eric is a member of several local Chambers of Commerce and is dedicated to his family and involvement in his local church.

Terri Stigler
Project Administrative Assistant

Terri joined People Lease in 2019. Terri brings 30 years of experience in Business Administration , Accounting, Customer Service and Insurance Billing. Terri is a team player and enjoys taking on new projects.

When Terri is not working, She enjoys working out, working in her yard , spending time with friends and family and playing with her 3 dogs.

Nanette Upton
Accounting

Nanette Upton joined the Accounting Department at People Lease in July 2021. Nanette brings with her over 20 years of accounting experience and 5 years of experience in payroll.

Nanette is a native of South Louisiana, currently residing in Braxton, MS. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and church friends, reading and cooking.

Jodi Warrington
Benefits

Jodi Warrington has 20 years’ experience in Business Administration and Customer Service. She has worked as a Bankruptcy Trustee to courtrooms and a local law firm for 12 years. At People Lease, Jodi brings enthusiasm to her job and pride in her work as she handles supplemental insurance, 401(k) and workman’s comp audits.

Jodi is a resident of Madison County where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Aubrey Webber
Administrative Support

Aubrey joined People Lease in September 2024. She brings over 10 years of experience in Accounting, customer service, and billing. She is passionate about helping others, being a team player, and staying flexible with her team. 

Currently residing in Biloxi, Aubrey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter along with their six animals. They enjoy family get-togethers, bike rides, and gardening. 

Cameron Williams
Reception

With 20 years of experience in customer service, Cameron is passionate about helping others and delivering exceptional service.  She is dedicated to building lasting relationships and contributing to the success of the team.

Currently residing in Ridgeland, Cameron enjoys nature walks, reading, and spending  time with her children.
