Ken Lewis

Immediately after joining People Lease in 1995, Ken recognized that customer service was at the very core of the People Lease business and helped introduce a high customer focus culture for which People Lease is known today. His efforts went into instilling a deep concern and interest in the customer at every level of the company, rewarding positive behavior and quarterly growth, as well as customer acquisition and retention.

He has also established an operational discipline that set People Lease on a permanent track for development of new services, technology innovation and positive revenue growth.

Ken joined People Lease in 1995 following a lengthy stint serving his country in the United States Navy. Ken is also a Mississippi licensed insurance agent for both Life and Health and Property and Casualty.

Angela Azevedo

A People Lease employee since September 2005, Angela is an experienced and accomplished payroll processor who is also responsible for dealing with the regulatory aspects of new hires. She is solely responsible for new hire reporting and shares the function of social security verification of new hires. reporting and shares the function of social security verification of new hires. Angela also serves as the exclusive enrollment liaison for employees wishing to join Magnolia Federal Credit Union.

Shirley Bordelon

A People Lease employee since February 2006, Shirley is a valuable member of the team with experience in several key areas. She handles core payroll preparation functions, as well as assisting with the monthly deduction and submission of Blue Cross/Blue Shield premiums. Shirley also assists with Workers' Comp payments and audits. A testament to her importance to the organization, she was named 2006 People Lease Employee of the Year.

Paul Bowers

A People Lease employee since 2005, Paul is our lead sales associate and a superb interpreter of how best to tailor our services to the needs of any enterprise, large or small. He cultivates new business, while nurturing existing client relationships. This includes periodic assessment of client needs, making clients aware of new technology that may improve efficiency and, of course, the resolution of any service issues a client may have. Paul is also a Mississippi licensed insurance agent for Life and Health, Property and Casualty, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Lisa Bryant

A People Lease employee since September 2009, Lisa is an experienced and accomplished payroll specialist who is responsible for the social security verification process for all new hire employees processed in the system. She has also recently been given the responsibility of the voluntary benefits reconciliation process for the People Lease customers.

Fran Flood

A People Lease employee since August 2001, Fran specializes in the administration of health and life insurance plans for individuals and groups. She is a Mississippi licensed insurance agent for Blue Cross/Blue Shield as well as most insurance carriers operating in the state. Extremely service-oriented, Fran believes in the power of personalized service and goes above and beyond the call to make sure our customers' employees enjoy optimum coverage at the best rates possible. She is on the Board of Directors of the Jackson Association of Health Underwriters, an ambassador for The Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, and a member of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce and the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce.

Terri Fortenberry

An employee since June 2009, Terri is a licensed property and casualty agent and a native Jacksonian. She has a BS degree in Business Administration from the Mississippi University of Women, completed INS 21, 22 and 23, and completed the Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. With over 30 years experience in commercial and personal insurance, she has worked with a variety of clients, both large and small. She is highly customer oriented and known to provide great service.

Marie Overby

A People Lease employee since September 2007, Marie is the warm and friendly voice that greats you when you call our organization. Both professional and charming, she is an outstanding representative who fulfills numerous corporate communication needs. Marie handles mass mailings with regard to egulatory changes; processes MDES and Social Security Administration verification requests; and assists with the calculation, withholding, processing and reporting of wage garnishments.

Julie Patridge

A People Lease employee since September 2006, Julie’s many responsibilities include the administration of various employee benefits programs and core payroll preparation functions. She handles 401k enrollment, contributions and reporting; supplemental insurance enrollment, premiums and reconciliation; as well as cafeteria plan enrollment and administration. A truly gifted multi-tasker, Julie was recognized as the 2007 People Lease Employee of the Year.

Denise Sheffield

A People Lease employee since 2009, Denise has 15 years experience in the Health Insurance Industry. Denise has Specialized in group, supplemental, and individual insurance products. She cultivates new business large and small while servicing existing relationships. She is also a Mississippi Licensed Insurance Agent.

Sharon Tolbert

A People Lease employee since December 2007, Sharon has quickly become an integral part of the accounting team. She has assumed Blue Cross/Blue Shield benefits administration responsibilities with regard to bill reconciliation and daily deposits, as well as tax and receivables deposits. Sharon also handles ACH deposits, both those of clients to People Lease and the direct deposit of payroll checks for client employees.

Lisa Touchstone

A People Lease employee since April 2007, Lisa has excelled as a Customer Service Representative and has proven to be particularly adept at prompt problem resolution. She also handles Workers’ Compensation Administration for all of our clients with great precision and attention-to-detail. Lisa is currently in the process of earning her Property and Casualty Insurance License and plans to earn her Life and Health Insurance License as well.

Margaret White

A People Lease employee since November 1998, Margaret could easily be considered the backbone of the People Lease machine. She pays the bills, handles the deposits and files federal and multi-state tax payments. No role at People Lease has greater fiscal implications or is more deadline-driven. Margaret’s can-do attitude and on-the-job insights make her one of the organization’s most valuable assets.
